I HAVE A 84 BRONCO 351 W ** AND MOTOR BAD. I LIKE TO UPGRADE .WHAT YEARS ENGINES CAN I PUT IN THAT ARE ROLLER MOTOR AND WHAT DO I GOT TO CHANGE TO PUT IT IN and the 88 to 97

I think the roller motors came out around '85-'86. You will need to change out the balancer and flywheel from 50oz to 28oz. It wouldn't hurt to balance the rotating assembly. Need to change the gear on distributor if using the your stock ignition.(I am basing this off my '78 ignition,it should be the same) Are you using the serpentine belt drive or keeping what you have? I would price it both ways- rebuilding what you already have and build it to your liking, and rebuilding the roller with the changes. If you buy a used motor and drop it in, you never know how long it will last.

OK I FOUND A PLACE IN DALLAS BOLT ON MOTOR .AND THEY HAVE SOME FROM 92 TO 97 351 FOR $500 WITH SERPENTINE THEY SAID IT WOULD FIT
