This is not a hard problem to fix but it takes a little trouble shooting to get the correct part. There are tow (2) fuses. One for the Dash switch and one for the tail gate key switch. Diagram of the circuit attached.
The best place to start is to open the access panel and use a couple of wires from the battery or a second battery you may have on hand.
1. First try pushing against the left side of the tail gate while operating the key. If that fixes it you need to adjust the latch. There is a safety switch in the latch that needs to be closed for the motor to operate. If that is it, you need to adjust the striker so the latch closes completely.
2. If that didn't work, open the access panel and find the wires going to the motor along the bottom of the access hole, (if the widow is up, you will have to climb in the back). There is a connector for the motor in the center. Disconnect the motor and attach the wires from the battery to the motor connector. If it doesn't move reverse the wires. If it still doesn't work then you have a problem with the motor. Two possibilities, the motor is bad or the drive gear needs replacement. If you hear the motor but the window doesn't move it is the drive gear. In either case you will need to remove the motor to fix the problem.
3. If the motor is working then move on the the wire connections. With a meter check the other connector half. Have someone operate the switch while checking the voltage at the connector. You should get 12 volts, when the switch is in one direction -12 and in the other direction +12. One of the guys on the forum recently had the proper voltage here and the motor worked by jumpers but did not work with the connectors plugged together. The problem was a bad connection when they were put together. He had to replace the connector.
4. If the voltage is not there, the safety switch may be bad. It is a common failing component.
