Hey, if you figure out how to wire it up, shoot me an email. I've got a set of doors I want to put on my 1982 that are power window/locks. I also need the interior door panels.

Check your fuse box and see if it has a slot for the power windows. If not, find a suitable location to get FUSED 12V with the key in the "ON" position.

I checked the manuel and it has the fuses for the power windows and locks. do you think it is wired to the doors already?

If the factory wiring is there, it will be at the bottom of the A-pillar, below the bottom door hinge, behind the kick panel. You'll have some wiring going to the dome light and seat belt buzzer, but I think it's on a separate connector.

would seem to me that all that would be needed is to run 12v and ground to door lock connecter and to the window connecter i know with that setup the drivers door would not operate the pass door lock or window but it is a way to do it

I think the rear tail gate window/door fuses are used as the locks and windows fuse

You're right, just running power & ground to the switches will work but you wouldn't be able to control the passenger window or lock from the driver's seat. JSM84 is right in that the factory wiring should be there just tucked away & unused. Popping a fuse into the empty slot & using the stock harness will be the easiest way to go.
