Hi all! again THANKS for the input on this Bronco project I purchased. I replaced the driver side door, hinges, window motor and key cylinder when working with the removal the cylinder lock I noticed there is a connection to it. Thinking it's anti-theft? Does it need to be hooked back up or leave disconnected. Alarm not working that's on a list of may to get to much later lol .

Hey DLR
Yes, its for anti theft, it is how the system can tell if you used a key to unlock or you jimmied the lock.
If you dont hook it up and get the alarm working again, it will go off every time you unlock with the key.
The remote unlock will still be normal.
I’d put it back in if you intend to fix the alarm system.
Hope that helps
Cheers

Ok Thanks.
Dang have to say another way to over **** with the computer thing. I'll just install a simple practical alarm lol. Could also just get a remote for the horn to beep it as I go in a store so everyone thinks I got an alarm, lol ( just having fun). Thank you again for your input!
