PLease help!! installed and axle piviot bushlin and it really

i just got done removing my axle piviot bushing in my 1994 bronco it was a pain to get out , so i went to advance auto parts and got the replacement for it. when i got home i went to put it in and it took no force what so ever to get it all the way in , no pressing or anything , not knowing anything was wrong i went ahead and put everything back together , today i looked and it looks like it is sliding around but not able to actually fall out , but it does movein and out where the front part where the lip is ... so i went back to advance P.O.ed thinkin i orderd the wrong part or they gave me the wrong one ,we looked it up 3 times and in all years with the dana 44 sissor front end and the all came back to that part and i orderd 2 of them because at the time of purchase and they looked identical before i installed the first one.... i also saw in a how to acticle that one person had to remove tac welds to get the old bushling out??? do i have to do that ???

please help like i said i didnt damage any of the holdong the old one in???

nevermind had to tac weld it , i was planning on welding the lift kit on today anyways because it has been a pain in the butt since i installed i had to tighen the bolt to many times so i just hit the lip around the bushling a couple of time careful not to burn it up ... water hose definatly near by...
