EDIT: Solved... was the coil wire - see my 2nd post (post #3) in thread.👍

So, drove today for about 2 hours in the crazy South Texas heat (about 102°F) and got to my destination just fine.

Parked for an hour or so, cranked right up.

Parked again for about an hour and a half, and now it acts like it's flooded?

Never had that happen before. I know on the old carbs you could hold down the pedal and get past it, but what can I do to get past it now?

I've been stranded in worse places, but this Whataburger is about to get slammed after the High School football game gets finished and I am ready to leave!

It was the wire from the coil to the distributor - had moisture I guess... so no fire...

Popped it off the coil, snapped it back on and wiggled it around and Vroooom!
