Just wrapping up a few projects so I can haul my 78 XLT into the shop for the winter. Plan on turning the rough-as-a-cob original 400/C6 thats been parked in front of the house for the last five years. Finally got the shop space and finally took an emeritus position at work (meaning I show up every other day and offer a couple pithy comments and some cryptic directions and then tell everyone that if they need me I'll be over at the shop)

I plan on making it an off-road only trail and dune buster with a modest lift, cut body panels in lieu of rust repair and a rattle can topcoat. Nothing fancy planned, just something to take out into the deserts of Idaho to do a little sagebrush busting. I am sure that I will have questions for the experts as I get into it.
