Hi everyone, I'm working on transplanting a 429 into a 1986 E.B. Bronco and I need some spec. info on a 429 casting number D1VE 6015 AA I have decifered that it is a 429 CJ block but I have heard conflicting info on the deck height for this block, some say it's 10.300 and others say 10.310 this is very important I get accurate info on this because according to my compression calculator program if it is 10.300 my deck height clearance or quench will be 0.017 and I've been told that this is too close also wondering if using a thicker head gasket would make things better, now primary question is what is the deck height for D1VE 6015 AA BLOCK???

Thanks for any help I can get

Dave
