Hey everyone. Trying to get some help here. I'm gearing up finally to start building my 78 460 my 78 bronco. So I'm collecting parts before the block work. Here's my dilemma. I keep looking around online and can't get a concrete answer. I'm gonna be running my square York ac compressor. No problem there. My issue is I can't seem to find exactly what I need to run the Saginaw pump. I found a diagram with the setup and pics online. But the couple part numbers for the bracket that comes off the water pump to the pump, I keep finding slight differences. One bracket is more flat, another has a slightly higher side where it meets the water pump, ect. All under the same part number. Either way I need whatever is the correct brackets. It'll have a spacer where it meets my York mount to the head, the one that mounts to the pump, and the one from that pump bracket to the water pump.. online says A 80-87 E350 with a 460 is what it would come off of. Anyone have a lead on this? I'm gonna include some pics of what I "THINK " I'm looking for. I'm NOT running that pos Ford Thompson pump. Has to be the Saginaw.. thanks ahead Mike

Maybe someone else will know better, but nothing ever seemed to fight right when it comes to PS on those 460 trucks. You probably have to hold it up there and see.

I mean that looks like the bracket I used, but like you said it might be off.

My biggest battle was with headers there was no kicker brace on the back. Hard to get the belt tight and keep the belt running straight.

if I had it to do over I would convert to serpentine belt.

Yeah man. I found the set on eBay and the guy happened to have the pump which I really don't care about. But he wants 400 something dollars. He's smoking crack. So if I can find an 80 to 87 E series van in the junk yards around here which is slim I'll get one or come across it online for a better price. But sure if you happen to come across something let me know I'd appreciate it.

So I found what I was looking for. I bought these off eBay. Everything I look up lines up with these. So the next things to track down are the stock column C6 shift linkage that goes from the column to frame to the trans.
