5.0 to 5.8 exhaust?

Just bought an 89 eddie bauer 5.0 as a doner for mine. It came with a really nice duel exhaust system on it. Was wondering if the system is a direct fit onto my 5.8. Also. Id like to use the exhaust manifolds off the 5.0 on the 5.8. Does it all match up?

Hey Ryan,

The manifolds may bolt up, but they are designed and ported for an engine smaller (5.0) than your 5.8. They are not interchangable. Why restrict the exhaust anyway.

If there are not any modifications to your 5.8, ( cam, intake, heads, etc. ) the duals can be used if they are 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" diameter.

There are little differences hear and there, between the 5.0 and 5.8. You probably just need to get under the Bronc and check the fittment
