what gearing would i have to have?

i have 35 inch tires with 4 inches of lift and want more torque out of my new built 351w....i dont really wanna pull anything, just some dunes and maybe some trails and still has to do about 65 on the freeway...what gearing would be best for the application..??

I would suggest 4.56:1 gears front and rear for 35"tall tires. JSM84

FYI,

JSM84 and BB78 certainly each have my respect when it comes to gearing and lifting a bronco.

Here is a thread with a bit more info about re-gearing, and it specifically notes 4.56 gears for 35's and 37's.

I have 4:10,s in mine with 35,s and Ill tell ya its not a highway machine it will do it but the motor is revving rather high with a C6 if you have a C6 I wouldnt recomend 4:56 if your going to be running the highway alot . If you have overdrive it would be fine /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I got 37" tires and ive just got 3:73. its fine. it goes plenty fast. i think low range is like 5.36 or sumthign around there
