Here ya go .

1. jack the rear end up

2. put drain pan under rear end

3. remove rear end cover bolts and cover ( may have to pry at cover a bit )

4. Put truck in neutral

5. look at the center of the differential you will see a big pin in the middle as you turn the drive shaft to turn the diff when you see the end of the pin there will be a 12 point 5/16 bolt on one end or the other .

6. Pary to god that bolt doesnt break off when you go to remove it .

7. Make sure you prayed

8. remove that bolt then push the pin out ( must be pushed from inside out to be able to get it out .

9 Once removed DO NOT spin the tires the spider gears and shims will fall out

10. push the tire in , it will move around 1/4 of an inch now look at the end of the axle where that big pin was you will see a big C clip on the end of it and it should push right off.

11. double check your jack stands and now you can slide the axle with the wheel completely out of the housing or you can take the tire off and the brake drum individually .

12. reasemble in reverse order.

13. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Yes there is a clip on the end of the axle shaft inside the differential.

Good luck,

:)>-
