Thanks Johnny!
My much-better-half is feeling well now and has an outstanding home health RN nurse visiting her three times a week.
Well I know you are feeling alot more relieved. Look up Al and keep the faith. Prayers to you and your family.

You too Al. I think I,ll clean up and paint the iron intake I have for the 390 and put it on the bronco. Tired of looking for an aluminiun one. Its sunny and nice hear now. Finally cooling down to work outside..be careful and have a nice day.

Yo Jimbo,
You can use my phrase, "mf÷÷÷×××"
🤬Have thrown everything in the book at the 'abomination'. <edit> Glad that thing is out of my hair now. Fixed.

Now back to the Bronc.

Glad to hear things are better on the home front. 👍

Fresh master cylinder installed on the Bronc- no more spongy pedal. Fluid leaking down the booster was a give-away. Guess after 30 years was enough on the OEM part.
Also had noticed that the oil gauge ran on the lower side of halfway for a spell. 🤔 not very typical. Switched the original part on the sludge motor in place after a good clean up & back to normal. Had me a little concerned.
Dang china replacement parts, what a waste.
O-well, inching closer towards the goal post.

Sounds like your working on my Firebired or Bronco. Yesterday I went to Summersville and picked up a package of 5/8 freeze plugs and installed one in the intake manifold{thanks MOTECH and Mike) Got the carb on and the butter flys wouldn,t open. Had to take it back off and put a spacer on it. It started getting late and had to quit. I hate this change of time. Hope it won,t rain and I,ll have the thing fixed this time.

One place charged me almost $12 for a box of 10 freeze plugs and the other place $5 for 1. I,ll quit doing business with them. I started noticing some shadey dealings with them.

Yesterday I put the small freezer plug in the top of the intake on 90. Put the carb on. Went to start it and NOW the springs are too weak carb linkeage---the same ones that was on it before. Today its raining and I went out in the building to get one---that I new I had some bigger and stronger ones--couldn,t find them. So now I,m gonna take a cuss break and relax.

Dang, can't believe this thread ain't been updated in this long.
O-well, finally got to another failure point on my clunker. The rear window switch. E2TZ is the replacement. Ever try to find one? So, we do a Conversion with a F2TZ switch. It works again. May not be a exact fit but can't win 'em all. Modded so a E2 can be put back in place, if one ever becomes available again. Now if I can ever get the blasted fuel/electrical issue sorted so the thing will actually Go places🤷‍♂️

New TPS installed along with the McCully TFI relocation kit brought online, after sitting on the shelf for almost a year. 😴
The W sounds like it's ready to roll this time.

Getting some time in the woods at a nearby campsite.
This is what it's all about. 👍

10/18Edit:
Back & forth to the campsite. Have a cooling system issue that needs to be addressed before we start stretching the legs further.
Replaced the backup lights in both housings that were inop. Just more on the list of failed electrical components that plagued this contraption. Other then that, everything is running in ok. Putting around the woods and backroads around here agrees well.

Shot paint on a couple of blemished areas. The roof is all 1 color (black) again and the LH door is not so ugly looking as it was. Not a pro coat by any means, but will pass for a budget fix. Also unbent a lower panel that I put a dent in a while back. The short wheelbase takes a corner a bit sharper then what I'm use to.
Greased the front end drag link and tie rod ends that looked like they hadn't been touched in 25+ years.

It's little stuff like this that'll wear ya out when it breaks & disappears. No parts houses seem to stock these in the HELP section. Plenty of j-clips & push plugs, but hey- they can order me 2 for $6 each. 😠

Ok, fresh 3 row radiator, 9 miles on the road and all good. 👍 Status: Operational
Kinda figured this was the issue when the original required a heave to get it out. Must have 15 extra lbs. of crud in it from sitting dormant all those years. Is going to a rad. shop for a go-thru and then be a spare for the 250, either or. Next is the clean bill o' health paper-hanging & greedo tax stamp, then some real road time.
Forum amigos, this is Your victory lap 🛻🏁for all who contributed advice. It's been quite a haul up this hill and we ain't thru yet with some fine-tuning & a few add ons.
L- thanks for the heavy lifting words and keeping me focused. 🍺
Shout outs to Tiha, Motech, J.R. and
