Huh? can you take a picture of what your talking about? Do you have more than one broken u-joint? One is it the axle or driveshaft?

bko,

I'm not clear on what you want to do either.

But regardless if it is the front or rear, if you need to ask questions about how to do it, it would be best to ask your cousin who owns the junkyard.

He can point at stuff and say... see remove this, then that and then put it back on in the opposite direction.

When you get stuck take pictures and let us know

I might have some pics at superford.org on basic u-joint removal from a driveshaft or axleshaft. Hang on while I look for the link, JSM84

The same process applies to an axleshaft u-joint, except that you should remove the axleshaft and stubshaft assembly from the axle first. If that is what you need to do, pleasse let us know.

LOL... now I don't know if you are fooling around, or if you misinterpreted what I meant.

What I meant was if while you are dissassembeling, or reassembeling whatever you are doing to your truck, and you don't know what to do or how to proceed, THEN take pictures and let us know.
