Tailgate Woes!!!!

I have a 1994 Bronco and the frigging rear window has quit. There is 12V to the tailgate. At the safety switch pigtail there is between 7 & 8V. The safety switch is good. Question is how do I get the window up or out? Does anyone have an exploded view of the gate?

I had a similar problem, try pushing on the drivers side of the tailgate while you are turning the key to roll the windows up or down, if this seems to make it work then the problem is that the plastic sleeve is worn off of the catch on the drivers side and that is what sets the safety switch. If you cant find a plastic sleeve to fit properly then just wrap the catch (the pin that the tailgate catches on) in electrical tape to make it thicker, this will properly trip the safety and your window should work properly.

If you are getting low readings you have some sort of connection problem. You can jumper the motor leads, (yellow and red) to get the window up or down. Either make up a long set of jumpers or take a battery in the back and jump them. Diagram of the circuit attached.

Hey guys I found the problem! It was the connector between the harness and the rear window motor. Jumped across the connector and up and down the window went. Now all I have to do is get some of those grey plastic thingys to hold the rear trim on and it'll be rigged as new.... good as new.
