ive been spendin most my time thinkin about my 79 but when its done im puttin the same axles under my 96 pickup. ive seen the fabritech, the jobrite, and talked cage about their kit comin out but is there any more out there? yall should call cage and tell em to come out with a kit using the factory radius arms and drop brackets/crossmembers to cut the cost down so later we can come back to them and buy thier pretty performace arms when the cash gets in. theyre said they were actually thinkin about it but dunno if the demand would be high enough cause they said that most people do it for the flex of the straight axle. if everyone calls maybe they will realize that more people could afford to do it right? another cool thing with them is they sell the induvidual parts to the kit. mainly the tracbar bracket which they say will probably go for around $110. that seems to be the biggest problem with the swap. his 6" lift springs have a rate designed jsut for the swap and fit the axle mount AND and the stock 80-96 bucket at the top it sounds so easy! they want $160 i think for those. if there are any other kits or local shops yall know of id love to hear more about the swap.
