I doubt very seriously if the additive had anything to do with it...but we don't have enough information to go off here. Did you make any changes/repairs/etc to the bronco before it started running poorly? Did you fill up at a station you are familiar with? It could be water in the gas, which can be remedied by adding a quart or so of denatured alcohol to your gas. But, that's purely speculation. Give us some more info to go off, we'll try to help.

I'm with Miesk5...are there any check engine lights on? You may need to check and see what codes it's throwing out at ya. A cracked Y pipe? How many miles on it since you replaced your 02 sensor? Was the problem all the sudden like, or was it gradually coming on?

the problem just happened out of no where tge other day after we filled it up with gas.and the y pipe has been cracked and the check engine light is on because of the y pipe i think.

You need to find out what the code or codes are and go from there. If because of the crack the o2 srs tripped a code there still could be more recent code that my have to do with your current problem.

Need those codes to properly diagnose

I felt like I lost power last week, it turned out to be that my front passanger side brake pads were sticking and keeping pressure on the rotor. No wierd sounds, no brake light, and no brake smell, it made me worry.

today the bronco started to idle high , at like 2000 rpm and i sprayed some wd40 on the throttle body were the cable is and nothing happened .therer could just be dirt in there from the other day but could this have to do with it?

mine idled at 1500-2100 rpm when the plenum gasket was shot. try spraying a little carb cleaner around the base of the plenum. if it picks up you found your leak. i found mine with a small block of wood that i covered the throttle body with while she was running. cut off the air supply and she still ran fast. so she was getting air somewhere. i have, however, been discouraged from using that technique as i've been told that could cause the gasket to be sucked in. but if you exhaust all other possibilities, maybe try it very briefly. you'll need an air leak roughly the size of your brake booster hose to cause it to run at 2000 rpm. it aint gonna be one of those little plastic lines.

Check your fuel filter and make sure your fuel pressure regulator is putting out the right pressure.
