ok. so right now i have a 86 bronco with 33 and what i beleive to be 4 inches of back spacing on my rims. i get a little bit of rub on my radius arms at the end of my turning. my plans. four inch lift. cut the fenders up to my chrome trim. 35 inch tires. and until i can afford new rims with im thinkin 2 inch of back spacing im gonna do 1 inch spacers. how well am i going to do with tire clearance. also mind u i will be doing a good amount of trail running, rubicon and what not

With a 4" susp lift AND cut fenders the 35's should fit fine with no fender rub. You may still have rub on the stock radius arms at full steering lock, and even with less backspacing. It helps to get the extended arms with the lift kit, since they are bent inwards a bit and give you more clearance than the straight, stock arms. You can either move the steering stops in a tad, but most folks (including myself) learn not to turn the steering wheel all the way to full lock. If you're moving real slow on the trails and do get some rub, you'll feel it soon enough. I would first try the 35's and your current rims (if they're 15x8 or wider) with the 4" lift, then see if and how much fender trimming you need to do., as well as how much rub you'll get on the arms.
