Ok i heard that when you take off the rear shell the seals just rip and break and fall apart is it even safe to take off the rear shell? And just above both doors there is some cracking, rust and it looks bad is that normal on a Bronco? And my windshield leaks but only like right next to the steering wheel. And does anyone know where i can get the weather strip set for the back cause i need the stripping that goes inside the shell and the kind on the tailgate and i went to ford and it was like $55 for just one strip.

When you remove the shell, you may get lucky and the seals will remain intact, you may not and they rip. LMC, BroncoGraveyard or AutoKrafters all carry the seals for the caps. As for the rust on the pillers, that is normal on Bronco's from what I've seen as well as in the wheel wells. As for the widshield, you may have to replace the weatherstriping around the window, you may have some rust working in the frame that is allowing water to seep through that area.
