I recently bought a '79 Bronco from my daughter and son-in-law. Didn't really want to, but they needed the money worse than they needed the ride. I really don't know where to start on this project but I figure the floor pan would be a good place to start. I'll post a few pics as soon as I can. Maybe someone will have suggestions and pointers for me.

Welcome to the Zone > . Sounds like you have a lot of fun coming up. The rusty metal is a good place to start. Don't try patching with Bondo, cut out the rusted metal and replace it with new metal. A lot of body shops these days are using epoxy to attach new metal, it is a lot easier than welds and holds just as well. Looking forward to :-B at your pictures.

Good luck on your project,

:)>-

Thanks guys. Yea, Seabronc, a friend of mine has a body shop and he told me that he uses 3M epoxy and said it can't be pulled apart. He also told me that he could get me the replacement pans for about $45 each side. Guess I'll give it a shot. Any pointer would be appreciated.

Thanks again for the welcome. Great forum with lots of good information.
