I am restoring my 88 and the wiring has been rigged to the point it makes my head hurt. I need almost every harness replaced. Id try putting them back together but 1. I'm color blind. 2. Its probably not possibly to revert them to original state. That being said, can anyone give me a clue as to what harnesses are under the dash, because almost every single one needs to be replaced. thanks for help!

It is a single harness with lots of branches. To replace that harness, you will have to pretty much disassemble the dash in order to be able to get at it all. You might think about having an Auto Electric shop make the repairs. The only place you are going to get that harness is from another Bronco in a junk yard. Another consideration is a Painless or one of the other brands. Either way it is a pretty big task. With a replacement like Painless, the best way is to do one function at a time like Start and Run, then Charge system, Lights, interior accessories, etc. You don't move on to a new function until the one you are doing is proven to be working.

Have fun and good luck,

yo KYLE,

As Seabronc advised

For a YARD SEARCH on-line, I use;

http://www.mypartshop.com/

Select All Parts

year, etc, then FORD TRUCK

State

Select Dash Wire Harness

MANY HITS!

Clear Search and then Select;

Engine Wire Harness

MANY HITS!

Lamp Wiring Harness

One Hit, but call Yards listed under Dash and Engine Wire Harness, they prob have other harnesses such as Tail Gate, etc.

Negotiate Price

and get $ back guarantee in case harness is hacked up

I actually got a harness for an 88, including an entire dash that is still wired if your interested. It's about be to sent to the scrap next week. i'm just about finished with my project, which was to strip an 88 and put my 95 guts in it, So i got all the electrical, computer, etc from tail light to front corner light and everything in between for an 88. including the 88 front clip

I'm not sure where you are located at but if you want to take a trip to NC, I'm selling the stuff cheap or it's just weight for scrap.
