I have a 3.5" lift. Should I use axel shims? If so what degree shims?

No, you don't need them. You only should use shims if you are going 5.5" or higher. The CV joints in the drive shaft are made to handle the change in angle. You will probably need to lengthen both driveshafts though if you haven't already. They should be able to hook up right now at stock lenght, but they will not have any further slip for axle travel, just an FYI.

Thanks for the info. I've ordered longer driveshafts.
