Eh..like you don't ever do anything illegal? Think about the small things, like jay-walking, not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign, going 5mph over the speed limit, failing to yeild..think about it. No one is that pure. Only reason for such a loose law is for "Officer Saftey".. as a career in Law Enforcment, I can see and understand why tint is such an issue..but even a very light tint can still reflect light still causing a saftey issue for an officer. I am one that believes either tint or no tint laws. No gray shaded areas..

Plus there is a reason why there are PA systems on patrol cars.

sure i do those things, but they're not permanent. for me, dark window tint (that is too dark to be legal) is just another way for a cop to pull me over. i am pro police and pro military, but that doesn't mean i want to say hi every chance i get.

i was pulled over the other day for "failing to signal at least 100 feet from turn" -- it was a stop sign. i stopped completely, then turned on my signal, then turned. this was just another way to get pulled over. i was profiled -- i was in my beater bronco and it was late at night... i looked like a kid into mischief (i'm 40 yrs old) he did his thing (run my plates, check for warrants, etc.) then let me go with a smile.

i got pulled over a few weeks ago for having one license plate light bulb burnt out. one still worked, but the other one was burnt out. i got a ticket for that one.

Must be your area then LOL

I got HIDs on my truck, so looking at my truck it loosk as if I have my high beams on (though they don't blinde you). Also had no front license plate for two years. Had tags that were nearly a year expired. On the highway, I never use my turn signal unless in traffic. Never got pulled over until the other day for not having a front plate. He was bored and told me he was. Either way, a cop can give you a ticket for whatever he feels nessesary. In CO, we get more sunshine than hawaii. If they wanted to, they could ticket everyone with 15% tint and make enough money to buy every CO resident a rolex for christmas after paying the bills. Now how well the officers in Seattle WA take my tint when I move there..we'll have to wait an see. It's like comparing HIDs. Never had an issue in CO. But my buds in CA get harrassed all the time in their cars with HIDs. However when I was in CA for a month I never got pulled over..probably because of my out of state plates LOL
