Yep.
Many of you already have seen the creation I bought. And the original tailgate is the bulkhead welded-in.
So, I found an F150 OBS tailgate for cheap on fb marketplace and gave it a whirl...
Body lines are perfect. This was first try. I took off the tailgate mounting hardware, the original strikers, hinge mounts, etc . And then I just bought some F150 tailgate hinges and strikers. It works great! Pics attached ..
Also, I mounted the spare in place of the old latch!
