It's offically summer time, as yesterday was the first day the weather was nice enough for ******* driving.

Now, for the question...

I noticed my brakes were getting mushy. Then yesterday day the pedal went right to the floor, but I could give them a pump or two, and they'd be fine. But when I was at the stop light, the pedel started sinking to the the floor. When I got home, I pulled the cover off and checked the fluid. They were both full, but front resevoir (front brakes?), looked dirty. I let it idle, and used a broom handle to push the brake pedal, and I could see a little splurt of fluid jump up out of the front resevoir. No bubbles, so I don't think it's air in the lines. I'm wondering if it's a worn seal in the master brake cylinder, and letting brake fluid flow past the piston?

Custom. I bought a sheet of 4x10' diamond plate, then used the existing liners as patterns to make the left and right sides, with extra left over to cover the access panel on the tailgate and to replace the door sills.

So I figured. I picked up a new master cylinder, and swapped it in about 20 minutes. Brakes work much better now
