If this is the same one you took out, I'd check the routing or peraps it is getting caught on something under the truck or in the engine compartment.

Did you replace the cable? If you did maybe it is too short. Take it back out and compare it to the old one.

If you didn't replace it do as SeaBronc said. It is a tight fit and is difficult to unhook / reconnect.

When I changed the faces on my dash I had to keep a bunch of band aids on hand for all the cuts my hands received.

Yea I had thought about disconecting it fom tanny to get a little exrta length, but to me Its one hard cable to get to, I was under that thing for a while yesterday! I guess its my only choice though..... Anything I should be careful of or not to remove in the process???? Thanks for the help
