Hi guys, got a whining noise from the rear, starts at about 35 mph and gets louder as you go faster.
I figured it was a axle bearing, but now I'm hearing that pinion bearing failure is common on the 8.8
Please give me your thoughts on this. If it is a pinion bearing, I don't think I can do the repair on my own.
ALSO, I have been in the Charlotte area for a few months now and I cannot land a job, no matter how hard I try. I am in dire straights now and need to find something asap. Do we have anyone in the area that can help? I have years of general business operations management experience. I'm a car guy, an aviation guy, work hard and play hard. Please shoot me an email.
