my 96 bronco back window...ahh!

My 96 bronco has back window problems...it goes down about 3-4 inches and it wont go down any more than that. it goes back up fine. i have checked the tracks and they are clean so i dont know what the problem is! please help!!! :blink:

Have you tried giving it a little help by using hand pressure on the top edge of the window? Sounds like something is either jammed or out of alignment.

sounds like a busted gear or the plastic dowels inside the gearbox are busted. 10 dollar part at chain store or 50 dollar motor
