ignition tumbler

Dumb question,,,,,do you need to put the paper clip in the hole in the tumbler when re-installing the tumbler into the ignistion switch?

Quick answer..., yes..!  (if Memory serves)

And it seems the key needed to be inserted & staight up...???

I'd have to go R&R  mine to be 100% sure.
