Hey guys. It's been quite a while, and lots of things have changed recently. I got a new job, that pays better, and is a lot more fun. My dad still has his 72 Bronco, but we haven't done much to it since this winter. We got the engine running in tip top shape. He has decided that he's going to wait and play with it this summer before parking it in the garage to start restoring it.

As for me, I got myself a 92 Ford Ranger. It's a great truck, and I'm really happy with it so far. But thats not what this is about :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have the chance to buy a 87 Bronco with a 351W. They want $1800 for it, and it runs extremely well and drives great. There are a few things that need some TLC, such as the electric windows, the turn signal lever doesn't work, and it badly needs tires, but other then that, it's in awesome condition. It's exactly what I am looking for as far as a four wheeling toy goes. Something that's a good rig, but needs some work.

The car lot selling it has been really good to us. I bought my truck from them, and my dad bought his Bronco, truck, and car from them. I talked to one of the guys there, and he said that I could probably talk them down to about $1300, if I'm really nice to them.

Anyway, thats it from me. I'll be cruising the board as much as possible to find out all kinds of info on both Bronco's. And for those who forgot about what my dads rig looks like, I'll give ya some pictures.

$1300 does sound like a fair price if the Bronco runs, and nothing is majorly wrong with the drivetrain. There may be some posts on what to look for when buying one, like rust in the tailgate, worn suspension and stering parts, as well as ANY fluid leaks. The Ranger looks awesome, too!!! Those are great trucks, wish I still had my 86 4WD. And hang on to that Early Bronco, those are getting really hard to find and increasing in value. I saw a restored 72 listed for $31K in the local want ads last week. May be a bit too high, but many go for around $15K in good shape. Welcome to Bronco Zone, JSM84

Thanks guys. That 72 will be with my dad until he dies. I gave up my pride and joy 4Runner and my only other car for him so he could get it, and I will NOT let him get rid of it. Hopefully I'll get to drive it some day :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I'm a Toyota guy at heart, but I love Bronco's as much as I love Toyota's. I have always wanted a full size Bronco since my dad's old one that he had.

I checked the papers today, and my Jeep is in them. I'm selling it off to help pay for the Bronco. I was trying to see if I could just do a straight trade, but the lot already has a few Jeeps (even though mine is a lot nicer then the Jeeps they have), so they were only going to do a trade up to $500. I'm selling mine for $1800 OBO, which is a steal for it. Even though it's an 87, it's real clean, in awesome condition, runs excellent, and has low miles for that year.
