I don't know if this a tech question. I folded my front windshield down yesterday just to see if I could and what it looked like down. Then I got to thinking it would be great to put it down while I cruise around in the dunes. The only problem was it hits the heater hood scoop and the wipers hit the top of the hood. Also there is nothing the keep it from flopping around while driving. Has anyone heard of something I could use to 1) keep it in pace, 2) prevent it from touching the hood?

66 EBs had a pin system on them specifically for that reason. I am not real sure where you could come up with one, might call Jeff's or Tom's to see if they have anything like that.

I'm almost afraid to suggest this in Bronco land but here goes a friend had a 66 years ago and had the same problem and found some hood rings from a Jeep and that worked good the center hood pin has a snap strap that connects to the windshield frame to hold it sucure hope that helps PS thinking of the age and available parts for your truck)

The original hood pin is a pretty clean installation and looking. The thing with the Jeep strap & rings is that the windshield rests on the rings where as the original EB one is a latch/lock mechinism that holds it down....supposedly so it doesn't rattle. I don't think that either is rattle proof, but to relieve stress on the center of the windshield, the Jeep idea isn't bad, considering that you have two contact points instead of the single one originally.
