Front axle decoded????

Its a 75 Bronco with a Front axle Tag that reads: 4.09 D4TA-AFA 603471-7

Can anyone please tell me what this means or where I can decifer this information? I really only want to know if it is an open differential or limited slip, since my rear axle tag is an A3 (LS)

If the differential carrier has never been changed, you have a 4.09:1 open diff.

If you had a l/s the tag would read 4L09 D4TA....
