Come so far, but so much left to do.

It is actually farther along than any of these pictures. the entire interior is in, except for the front row seats. Guess I didn't get a decent pic of that ever. Weather is getting better though, have to get it outside more.

Looking good Tiha!!
Man, that is a ton of work!
Doing a stud kit and oil cooler plus standpipes, etc…etc…etc…on the 6.0L?
The “everything is different is so Ford!
We have run into it so many times here in our adventures!
Nice work!
Cheers

The 6.0 dropped a valve a couple years ago. It has new O-ring heads. Studs. Had a couple oil coolers now.

Actually found the turbo was junk, shopping for one now. But he has spent a ton on engine upgrades. We were just re sealing it. Put a new oil pan on it. The oil pan had rust, but more than that it had dents and gouges. Something happened before he bought it.

I am not a 6.0 fan, but he loves it. So far he doesn't mind working on it. But like now, even the IPS was new, but we found it leaking oil into the pigtail, so I had to get another sensor and a new pigtail.

The Axle donor truck was a 2006. with a 6.0 the intake manifold was different, there is no rear cross over, so we swapped it out. Makes it easier to work on the IPS, pull the turbo, tighten the up pipes.

It is ready to fire up if I had a turbo or some way to plug the oil feed line to the turbo, but until I find one we will just keep plugging away.

One thing about this project, everything is the best it can be. The wires are routed properly, ******* properly, all the hoses and lines. The bolts that didn't get put back over the years are back in. Fixing all the broken wire plugs and clips. All those little details.

If you ever wanted to build a project from scratch, every nut, every bolt. this is a lot like that.

It will be fun when it is over.
