Do you have a fuel pressure gauge on the regulator? You might turn it up a bit to see if that helps, but without a gauge it's hard to measure.

something else i forgot to mention my fuel setup i rmoved my secondary frame mounted pump and put an electric pump in so im pullin through in tank pump and all that intails i think it messes w my pressure sometimes my see thru filter will be full or almost empty w out me even adjusting the regulator and sometimes when the filter is full and i shut the truck off the fuel will drain back what do i need to do w the old return line from efi se3tup u think this could be part of my starting prob

Yes, if the regulator has an opening for the return line, you ca nrun a hose thru it back to the tank. If it doesn't, that's OK too just be sure that it's plugged off. you can either adjust the float level on your carb or jack with the pressure regulator to get the middle-level of fuel in your sight filter. Just a sidenote, I had a bud with a killer 70 mustang that burned up due to a bad/cheap see-thru filter. Be careful when working with the fuel levels and pressure, and have afire extinguisher onhand.

hey bud i had a guy tell me my starting prob could be b/c my carb eventhough its new could be while sitting letting the gas flow through thus flooding the engine and thats why u have to whirl it quite a bit to start it after u run it this mornin all i had to was pump it and crank it right up
