diesel engine swap?

so i was thinkin bout puttin in the 460 gas motor but now im thinkin maybe a deisle engine so its smog exempt and cause u can push tons of power though them super easy. is there one that would swap in easily> 6.9 maybe? any advic or somments would be appreciated. thank you

Don't know much about the swap issue, but I do know for it to be legal (here), the engine has to be from the same year as your Bronco.

If it's not, then you have to go through a bunch of legal bs with registration and everything.
