The EB emblems on the fenders are shot so off they came and I dont think new ones are available plus I dont want to advertise the EB name if they are not going to pay me to advertise, they had 24 years of free advertising up to today and I am going to remove all emblems and fill the holes when I get it painted. I will paint it all red when its done,I will keep the EB interior but the little pouches on the back rests are shot too so I will eliminate then when I redo the seats.

I don't have an EB, but I took my emblems off the fenders too. I have a '94 XL and I've always wondered why Ford wanted to 'show off' the bottom of the line Bronco. I decided it would look a lot better with emblems from an early Bronco. I have already filled the holes in the fenders and once I get it painted, those emblems are going on.

Hey Jeff,

Looking forward to seeing your Bronc when it's done.

I took off my EB emblems a couple years ago. Covered the holes with some side vents.

It's a $ thing on why Ford had the XL emblems.....was cheeper to have all the fenders produced with the stamped holes. Then just add whatever emblem. Same fenders were used on PUs, so they were saving 100s of K in dinero.

Good luck with the project.
