I have an 89 Bronco that runs great. I have had some trouble with it going into gear. I have changed the transmission fluid and the truck will only go into gear if I put it into 4x4 Low. I can not figure out why it is doing this. Any help would be great. I think it might be the transfer case but I rely cant say. Thank you all.

Just to clarify the truck will only move when in 4 low ? Or does the transmission shifter not move unless your in 4 low ? If its the first option you probably lost the oil pump in the T case and its time to buy some parts . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Well you should start pulling the T case then Im sure the usual hapened to it . It will eventually stop moving all together if the shift fork well whats left of it moves a little . Here are some pics of one of my rebuilds . If you look up reiverside gear you will find a very good place to get parts . Its not a bad job and you could add pics so well have more of an archive of T case failures here I had one do what you describe and I had one drop into 4 low at around 60 mph that was a rough one . Heres a link to my rebuild post . Good luck :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
