86 axle swap

I was considering doing an axle swap on my 86 bronco, I was thinking of going with f250 axles, but I'm not exactly sure what kind of problems I should look out for. I believe it has an aod transmission and an 8.8 rear end. What parts can be re used or should I take everything off the donor truck. Its my play toy so it wont be driven on the road so I don't even know if this is the right way to go, I appreciate any help you can give.

why do you want to go to 3/4 ton axles?

Well I'm not sure what to go with, I know a few people who have done the 3/4 swap but I don't know how much better it is.
