I just rebulit the stock carb and was adjusting the idle. When i rev'ed the motor there was a popping sound like if you were to tap a plastic cup. When i took it out for test drive you could hear it pop a little more often and each time it popped it lost power like it was hesitating. i'm baffled is it timing, carb????
I am also looking at a sas swap how much lift would i gain over the stock suspension. The truck currently has a 2-3 in body lift and i would say a 4 in suspension lift that was fabbed by a previous owner who lengthend the rear factory shackles and weld another set of shock tabs right next to the orginal front shock witch i plan to get rid of. I have access to a 98 jeep cherokee that i could pull axles from it it will work under the ranger
