Try posting this in the Bronco II forum, this one is for full-sizes. Go to www.advanceadapter.com, they have alot of info on making v8 swaps into Rengers/Bronco II's. I doubt the current 5-spd/tcase/axles are up to v8 torque, and I don't think the bellhousing will bolt up. Hope this helps.
Well from my experience the first thing thats goona blow chunks will be the 7.5 rear end its gotta go . My B2 had a 4 speed in it when I got it and someone had made a bellhousing adapter to go from the tranny to the V8 . The tranny is not rated for that kinda torque so it was a matter of time on that one . Best bet is advance adapters for motor mounts,A C4 tranny with advance adapter tranny kit so it will mate to the stock T case which is plenty strong, Use an eplorer rear end as they are the same as the F150 31 spine 8.8 just narrow . ( cant use a ranger 8.8 because the frame width is weird and wont fit in the bronco 2 because you cant move the spring pads far enough out ) And last but not least I used a fullsize bronco drive shaft in mine because I got sick of watching the stock B2 one bounce down the road, Oh and for headers the advance adapter ones are a waste of money the james duff ones are way better , That will take care of making it move and be plenty strong enough . I never broke my little dana 28 up front and it held up to a 351W but I think I was just lucky when I redo it this spring Im goona hang an eplorer dana 35 up front unless I can find a dana 44 had plans on narrowing a 79 full size axle I have to fit in it and hang it on leaf springs but the guy I got the springs from off ebay stiffed me took my money and never sent them . So not sure what Im goona do with that yet . Hope that helps and if you have any questions feel free to ask . /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
