Well on my trip out here to Cali, then up the Cali/OR coast line (900 miles round trip to just see the beach!), I average out around 19mpg.

Most average speed is 70-75mph. Bronco just hums and cruses down the road like it's nothing. In the city, it does dang fine. The elevation (sea level or about) gave it a HUGE HP boost! Big difference from beingn in the "mile high" at 5,200ft.

So far on this trip, I've put in about 2k miles. I have an interview in Seattle I think later this week, and that's 1,600 miles round trip..then back to Denver by Xmas which is another 1,100 miles.

So far I've just had to replace the serp. belt as it started to squeek a little - Altho the belt is fairly new (less than 8k miles)..I think it had something to do with the trip and road grime?

Anyway, average is about 19mpg. Sitting in the driveway right now at 311,129 miles.

If all goes well with this job interview, I'll be worked in Seattle, WA or Sacramento, CA. At that time, the Bronco can rest as I'll have both new trucks out here ^_^ /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

thanks for the info :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> did you get the job?
That job I went to Seattle for, no. I had an interview here in San Jose, CA which offerd me a little over 50k a year plus paid benifits.. Not bad for a 23yr old with little bills!! lol but I have another interview (different company) in Seattle next Monday. So we'll see how that goes, as I REALLY want to live in Seattle.

I did a basic tuneup, new plugs/wires/fuel filter/air filter/seafoam/sept belt and tomorrow a new IAC and Fuel Pressure Regulator. I'll record my MPG and update with the new "tune-up" digits! :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
