looking at a 1988 Bronco with 34" tires I used to own a 96 with a 31" . question I have is this 302 have enough power period with this tire size or just power 302 seems to be quite a step down from a 351. is there engine mods I should be looking at right away

Hi.., welcome...!

You'll need to do more homework. i.e. they may have already swapped the axle gearing to match the tires. If not., it would likely need that done.

Type in -- gearing -- in the search box..upper right on this home page.

a 302 is not a big step down, going from 31s to 34's with stock gears would make a 351 feel like its running like a lazy dog too.
