I picked this Bronco up for $600 bucks. The guy was somewhat truthful in what he sold me. It leaks more oil than what he said it does. So this weekend we are pulling the motor to do rear main, oil pan gasket and oil pump (to be safe) and valve cover gaskets. I hope to find lots of info here. Thanks.

Hi there tony, Well while you have the motor out I would put a new water pump on. Too bad you couldn't do a compression check before yo pulled the motor.

I also have a '90. It is the first 4x4 I ever owned, but boy am I impressed with the bronc. IT is an awesum machine. I'll bet you are gonna love her!

Anyway... welcome to the zone. BE sure to take a lot of pictures as you do major rebuilds etc, so that you can share them with others at a later date.

welcome to the zone bro.... oil leaks are my pet peeve, fix right and dont over goop em with the orange stuff!
I've had my 90 bronco for 11 years and it is in excellent shape. 3 years ago I had the oil pan seal replaced and it solved the oil leak prob. I can't see anything out there that would replace this, especially when you see what new vehicles cost these days. Good Luck
