Hey Bum,

Yes it is. If the fuses are all ok, check wires at the solenoid that have constant batterypower. One or two have fuseable links that may have been shorted. Sorry to be so vague. I do not have my wiring diagrams available.

Good Luck

Troubleshooting in 87-91 (from Factory Manual and the Ford Electrical & Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual (EVTM); w/Wiring Diagram & Continuity Testing (Logic Tables); miesk5 Note, It is out of order, so read the 2nd from left page first

Check for Open in Fusible Link M (BLUE in Color) @ Starter Relay on passenger side inner fender

See Bill's wiring diagram in aove Link; it is @ upper left side if diagram is rotated CW

Should be Battery Voltage to Ground

Yellow Wire to Ign Switch

Most fusible links show a melted, charred insulation when they burn out.

another diagram by SeattleBronco in a 90 shows same;

1990-bronco-charge-power-distribution.jpg

it shows from M to Connector C202 which is on firewall and other side goes to dash, ignition switch, etc.
