winshield wipers???

Just have a quick question i turned on my windshield wipers the other day and they seemed to work fine untill they fully went up and now there stuck straight up and down.I unhooked the wiring to the motor cuz its just pulsated like it was trying to go down but was stuck.Just wondering what the casue of this and how it can be fixed?

i would disconnect the linkage at the motor and see if the motor is working,if it is working,the problem should be in the linkage to the wiper arm.if it is not working i would start from the motor and work back to the multifunction switch.....dont know what the cause would be...my wipers wouldnt shut off and of coarse it was the motor,the last thing i replaced....hope this helps

The wiper parking circuit is in the motor. However, from what yousaid about pulsing, it could very likely be the connection of the linkage to the motor.
