I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to remove scratches from my side window glass. I think it was caused from the window rails drying out and when the window was rolled down, it would scratch the glass. no deep gouges, just abrasions. and if this does not work out, where can I obtain glass for an 81 full size Bronco. also, I need to remove the OLD tint from the windows. any ideas????? sorry, alot of questions, I know. :( /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I would think a heat gun and razor blade would work as well..

don't get it to hot as the tint might melt and become a goo-e-mess...

I may be right, I may be wrong..

The scratches can be removed if they are light....Contact local glass companies or look online for "Jewelers Rouge" use this wiuth a buffing wheel ( polisher) and a spray bottle of water. remember that you are polishing glass so you gonna b e there awhile. and cover everything up cause your gonna make a mess. tint removal is easy... get the wifes hair dryer...or yours I say wife cause I am folically challenged and warm the tint up..not heat...warm use a razor blade to get a corner loose and warm and peel...after removing tint use rubbing alcohol to remove glue residue...

good luck
