Yeah, it's me again! One more problem to be solved before inspection: my turn signal lever is on the lunch! I have hazard lights, but have to hold the turn lever in a certain position to get the signal to come on. Is this a short or something? I haven't bothered checking the fuse because I have good hazards. Like I say the lever does work, just have to play with it. I know it won't pass inspection and I'll probably catch a ticket if a fine officer of the law notices.

Didn't catch what year truck you have. Usually two different fuses control Hazard Lights and Turn Signals. Also there are two different flashers involved. One thing is to make sure the Hazard switch is totally in the off position, it will prevent the signals from operating. If that doesn't fix the problem, it is probably the turn signal switch that needs replacement. Since you will have to pull the steering wheel to replace it, try cleaning the contacts first.

Good luck,

:)>-

Turn signal circuit for an 83 attached, it should be close no mattter which year trtuck you have. Not one of those things that changes much.
