whats up guys, im new to the bronco world , i just sold my 1998 Mustang GT, and picked up a 1990 Bronco XLT 5.8. so this is my new project truck now. but im wondering where to start, its really been kicking my a$$, so i already slapped some 31x10.5 SS M16s on it. next im going to put a HID conversion kit on (gotta have it), but thats where im stuck, so here are a few questions for you bronco experts
Single exhaust or Dual, ive found diff packages for this all over the web, question is, is dual worth it, or is a large single better?, id like an aggressive sound but i do live in an apartment building.
intake? ive been looking around and ive seen that all i need is a large filter and some pvc pipe and i can make a fairly cheap mass intake, but is the intake manifold worth replacing?, with a new exhaust that could only help? any suggestions?, ive found a few from edelbrock, does it need a new "tune" for this?, my mustang needed a new tune for every electronic part i changed, the bronco is EFI so idk
MSD ignition LOL this thing is a gas HOG, ive already done a tune up and such to fix any little problems, would a MSD ignition amp or something like that be worth the trouble to get a little extra spark to help out throttle response and gas mileage.
last thing, ive been seeing alot of these "power chips" on ebay for 10-25 dollars, are they worth it? i just cant see a 25$ chip being worth anything???
Lift is a bit down the line, for now im looking for a bit more "Pep"
mostly what im going to use the truck for is hunting and mudding, nothing to extreme, its just not in me to leave a vehicle stock
O well i guess i could tell you guys a bit about me, im from South Louisiana, born and raised, Joined the army been in 8 years now, for now im living at fort riley Kansas. currently deployed and looking at ways to spend my tax refund lol. ok guys again thanks for the input
