Whats the best replacement Radiator

Well now that the carb problem is solved I guess I need to tackle something else. I need to replace the radiator and was wondering it there are any replacement radiators that are recommended over others. Maybe one is as good as the other but from what we have been reading, EB's are known to have temprature issues. Also what about adding an electric fan. I know ya'll are going to get tired of all my questions, but I am really thankful for this forum. Maybe in a few months I will be able to look back and follow the build from carb to ????. I purchased a new 4 core from J. Duff and it has been in for over 10 years with no cooling problems

or leaks.

I'm gonna agree w/bully bob. Unless you are desert running, running a 351 or bigger engine then the original radiator should do you just fine. Make sure you have the fan shroud and if you are having cooling issues, have your radiator gone through and possibly rebuilt. Also stick a 180-190* thermostat in there. Mine runs at about 170* all the time(with EFI) unless the outside temp is in the 80*+ range, and even then I haven't run above 195*, and that was right before I had my radiator rebuilt. I have never once overheated in the 17 years I have owned an EB.

If you are dead set on a new rad. then I would suggest a 3 or 4 core from any of the vendors. All of the 4 core aluminum ones , doesn't matter the vendor, are Ron Davis units and are in the $500-600 range.
