wanted- 80-96 soft top

looking for a soft top to fit my 85' full size. the type that comes straight down and out, to make it look like a truck. i hear 80-96 will fit.

You and me both! They're very hard to come by since most people who own them will not consider selling, and as of right now no one makes them. Check craig's list, e-bay, etc, etc and you might get lucky. There is a RUMOR (not confirmed) that Bronco Graveyard will be offering them soon. I have e-mailed them, but no response. Good luck.

For that style head out and get a toneu cover for a PU and modify it to work. I found mine yeas ago for a short bed chebby for 50 bucks and went to town.

God, I'm dyslexic...I thought you wrote, "Comes out and then straight down..." The kind you're looking for are much easier to find. They make them new at http://www.skylercorp.com/Skyler-tops.htm, but they're not cheap. Wileec had a good suggestion for much cheaper.

FYI, Skyler has been out of business for several years, although you can still find a used top for sale about once a month on ebay and other ad sites. soft-tops.com still makes a slanted-back style for about $410 + shpg, JSM84
